I've already posted today but I'm going for it again! This is a picture of the back of my truck. It has been taken over, taken hostage if you will, by softball gear. It will remain in a hostage state until June. This does not include Shelby's personal gear bag by the way. After all, when you're a pro like Shelby you simply MUST have all your own gear! Pony tail helmet with personalization, bright pink bat, Easton glove and embroidered bag. I mean really, how can you possibly play in the Ponytail league without it? LOL You know I love it!

I love it! The boys have gotten new batting helmets this year and want their's personalized. Charlie wants a dragon with his name on it. Luke wants his name with Gravedigger. (What else?) I'm finding that the gear is very important to the sport. I'm sure that once we have our team colors, we will be accessorizing even more. Jeff will probably not approve of matching sweatbands, though. hahaha
Or hearing accessorizing in the same sentance with any kind of sports!
Love ya'll
You know you really can't be GREAT at any sport unless you have your OWN gear. It is just that simple. And you never know who might or might not wash their ponytails for that game either. You know you wouldn't want to wear that same helmet!! C'mon now.
We are still into all the Football gear. However sign ups for baseball is this weekend I think. But baseball wouldn't start until late may early june. Unless of course, we play snowshoe softball, which just occured in the Fur Rondy. (The festival that kicks off the Iditarod.)
Hmm, snowshoe sofball....now there's an idea I'll have to run by Shelby! LOL Well, my truck will have a 3 month reprieve of ball gear after June, then its back to football! Bubba has been watching every football movie he can find to quench his thirst for the game until then. There are only so many tackles his Daddy can handle ya know? LOL
Shelia, you said that little Eric is watching football movies in Jamie's blog. Has he seen Facing the Giants. It a little adult, but it is good football and Biblical too. He might like the football part---it is a total family movie.
No he hasn't Ms. Jan, but I've heard great things about the movie. I'll have to rent it for him. Thanks!
i should sign Riley up for t-ball or something....I never know when the sign-ups are. I'm so behind on things like that.
You sure do have a load of equipment to haul around, Shelia! Do all of your kids play?
Jacob really liked Facing Giants. It is a great family movie!!
Amy, only Shelby plays softball. I'm the coach so I tote the "stuff". LOL
UHHHHH!! Hello?? I haven't seen pics lately? J/K.. We miss round here!!!
Ditto what Jamie said! I'm regularly checking in for more photos!
