OK ya'll, here's my take on it! Now I have a question, do ya'll see the small holes in the walls to the left and right? They are perfectly spaced, did these hold timbers for something? Someone help me out!

Judy, if you look at all the pics, these "holes" are on every side of the church, all evenly spaced. I thought maybe some kind of timbers to support a roof overhang or something? I really have no clue! The research sounds fun, I might join ya! Ya know, with all that spare time you have! LOL How does June 4, saayy...2009 sound?
Oh, I really like the second picture! You did a great job with these. It's fun to get everyone's perspective on one subject.
