Shelby has met yet another milestone in her young life. Yep, she graduated elementary school. We all know how proud we can be of our kiddos, but this day I was beaming. Shelby is the valedictorian of her class and was chosen to write and present the welcoming speech. She did a fine job. To top it off she won the coveted "Girl of the Year Award" of the entire 5th grade. Yes I'm bragging, yes, I'm sure you're all tired of hearing about it! LOL I can't help it!

Well, the boys and girls of Sheldon came out to play today. Here are a few pics of the tug-o-war. I wasn't able to get pictures of the softball game due to me playing in it! LOL I can multi task but thats a bit beyond my capabilities.

Kenny was talking to himself the whole time he was being dragged..."push the pool! push the pool!" LOL He actually just got back from Iraq. Nice to see him in another familiar uniform.
They are such boys! LOL Kenny didn't make it in so they helped him out!

Stair steps!
Allow me to introduce you to another one of my brothers. Bloggers...meet Harvey. LOL It wasn't planned but somehow we ended up tallest to shortest. If he wasn't leaning on the washing machine he'd be even taller. Now if you remember I posted a pic of my older brother Bill a while back. Well I'm going to ask again, what happened to my height gene? Who took it? This kid is 9 years younger than me! LOL You can't see in the picture but my brother Bobby is also there. He thinks its real cute to come up to his "big" sister and rest his elbow on the top of my head. And people wonder why I moved away from them! LOL
Of course I love them dearly. Without them, my disfunctional family would have no func! LOL And really, who has patience for normal people anyway??

BENIGN!!!!
BENIGN!!!! WHAT A BEAUTIFUL, WONDERFUL WORD!
She will be going to Dr. Blocker, an orthopedic doctor, very soon. Dr. Simmons will be making her appt. with him. She will definately be having surgery to dig the tumor out of her bone. Depending on the amount of bone that has to come out with the tumor we may be looking for donor bone. Possibly harvested from another part of her body, or even an outside donor. I'm first in line! I have to tell you, my Christ had his hand on my shoulder every step of the way. Dr. Simmons is a wonderful Christian doctor and loves his patients very much. Even puts up with the crazy parents beautifully. When pooh was being prepared for her MRI they gave her "earheads" (thank you Em) to wear with music playing to drown out the sound of the machine. The tech also gave me a set to wear so I could hear what they were saying to her during the test. I put the headphones on, and what did I hear? Praise and worship music! Now if that isn't Jesus saying, "Shelia, calm down girl", then I don't know what is! LOL I thank all of you so much for your prayers, keep them coming for the upcoming surgery. If her arm interferes with cheerleading she will not be a happy girl! Ever the Princess!
Jake and Emmy, you two are blessings to this Earth, your family and your friends. God has set aside a mighty work for you guys. Thank you so much for praying for my Pooh! I love you bunches! You both get big squeezes from mommy and nana from me!

Ok, we all know what happens tomorrow. Here she is showing off those big muscles in that right arm! So keep sending up your prayers, they've helped already. Her bloodwork came back great. The bottom picture is my favorite of all time of her. The way it is set kinda stinks but the pic itself is gorgeous! ~big smiles~
