This picture really doesn't do this branch justice. You can't even get close to how steep this really is. To get down to the water you have to slide on your butt. If you try walking down you will very quickly find yourself tumbling head over foot...over head...over foot!
I like the color contrast in this one.

This is about 6:30 to 7 am. The mist was just beginning to lift off the water.

I can't wait for Jeff to read your blog site for the last few days. He can't wait to get up there to fish!

Now that we have had our homecoming weekend, I hope to start blogging again daily. Great pictures!

I've made that on your butt journey before, to avoid the head over heels one. It is very steep, I think about 20' straight down.

It' a great place.

I think that the first time we went, I was going about 50 mph down that slope. I didn't know you could fall that fast!!! I did stay on my feet though. I don't really know how.

I wish we could be there!! Homesickness, AGAIN!!!LOL

Well LT, he's been watching all the fishing shows before school to brush up on his technique. LOL We were using those amber colored worms your Dad told me about and some funky lookin fake lizards. LOL

The pics are great Shelia, but going donwhill on your butt is a hard way to take off weight. Loved your bait discription!

The trip on your butt is not to "take off weight", it's keep from breaking your neck!
